At Peasy, we don’t operate with preferred lenders in Australia or fixed shortlists. Every lender is considered based on your specific situation, not internal bias or habits. This helps ensure recommendations are genuinely customised to you. Sometimes that means different lenders for different clients, depending on what fits best.
As your trusted mortgage broker, we work with a broad panel of over 30 lenders across Australia. We don’t limit ourselves to a small group because different situations suit different lending policies. In some cases, we refine this down to a maximum of five options for clarity and focus. Occasionally, it may even be fewer, depending on borrowing capacity.
A lender panel is the group of banks and lenders a mortgage broker can access when comparing loan options – in Peasy’s case, it’s over 30. The size of the panel matters, but so does how well the broker understands each lender’s policy, process and appetite for different scenarios.
No. More lender access doesn’t guarantee approval, savings or a better loan. It does give a broker more options to compare for you. The right fit still depends on your income, goals, property type, deposit, loan structure, lender policy and overall circumstances.
